Materials was recorded in 2005 in between shows with bands like The Mathematicians, Ponytail, Dan Deacon, Matt & Kim, The Deathset, Parts & Labor, Video Hippos, Creeping Nobodies, Human Host, They Shoot Horses, and Wzt Hearts.
The original CD release was lovingly hand-packaged inside a hidden compartment carved into the pages of a different used book, making each copy unique. You can see some of the original covers on Bandcamp.
